Clinical Application:

Detection and quantitative monitoring of the t(9;22) BCR::ABL1 fusion transcript. This assay can detect two different types of BCR-ABL1 fusion transcripts associated with CML, ALL, and AML: e14a2 (previously b3a2) (major breakpoint, p210) and e1a2 (minor breakpoint, p190).

Diagnosis and monitoring.

Real-Time Quantitative PCR. Minimum sensitivity: 0.001%

Specimen Requirements:

DNA-based assays

Peripheral Blood: Minimum 2 mL in EDTA (purple top) preferred or 2 mL in sodium heparin (green top)

Bone Marrow: Minimum 2 mL in EDTA (purple top) preferred or 2 mL in sodium heparin (green top)
